Why the 3DS Will Revolutionize Gaming

1) It’s freaking 3D!!! Never, in the history of this universe has a game console, TV, phone, or anything been able to give a unique 3D effect without the user having to wear some ugly glasses.

2) Kids are going to go blind. Nintendo has all ready stated several times in press releases and interviews that the 3DS will greatly hurt young children’s eyesight. Considering there have been over 135 million Nintendo DS units sold (not counting DSi units), we can estimate that about 150 million 3DSs will be sold in the same time period. Assuming that 60% of the users will be young kids, thats 90 million blind kids which the world will be stuck with.

3) The primary opening game line up is outstanding. Some of the most important games to be released are:

Animal Crossing

Assassin’s Creed

Bomberman (a classic)

Dragon Quest

Dragon Ball

Kid Icarus (finally, he’s back)

Frogger (a retro game made new)

Zelda: The Ocarina of Time — 3D Remake

Mario Kart 3D

Metal gear Solid 3: Snake Eater 3D

Paper Mario

Rayman: Origins

Resident Evil 3D

Star Fox 64 —- 3D Remake

…AND A LOT MORE

This could quite possibly be the greatest console opening lineup in all of video game history. Therefore, Nintendo’s going to make an insane amount of money from this.

4) As I said before, Nintendo will make a crazy amount of cash from the 3DS, the most any company has made from a handheld console. The handheld market may then become completely dominated by Nintendo (ie. Goodbye Sony). And if Sony loses their PSP empire, they may possibly lose so much as to completely step out of the video game industry.

5) Final prediction: The 3DS will lead to the fall of Sony’s share in the video game industry.

This is why nobody should ride this things. Hot air balloons are unsafe threats to society and should be banished to Alcatraz along with any video game system made by Sony. (If you cant tell, I sarcastically hate balloons, but actually hate Sony made video games)

It’s a new year, and that means the 2011 Consumer Electronic Show is right around the corner. For those of you who aren’t too tech savvy, its the big conference of the year where all the tech companies show off their creations to come in future months.

So far there have been rumors of an IPad 2, a new iPhone which will FINALLY run on Verizon, possibly over 80 DIFFERENT TABLETS, and a bunch of other cool tech stuff.

Runescape to stop sucking soon

You heard it. Runescape, the free mmorpg with the most users might stop sucking soon. On the Runescape homepage, Jagex has announced that they will cease the limits on trading and bring back the original wild if a majority of the players vote “Yes” on the proposal. Bringing back the old wild will allow players to kill other players in the wild and take all of the losers possession, while, with the current restrictions, the predator only gets a few pieces of crap. Also, free trade would allow players to be able to give each other an infinite amount of money and items. With the current restrictions, only about 10,000 gold can be traded an hour.

So all you mmo players, go to www.runescape.com, log-in and VOTE YES!!!
